James E. Barley Sr.'s Obituary
James E. Barley, Sr., 89, of Plano, TX passed away August 12, 2018, in Richardson, TX. He was born February 12, 1929, to Daniel and Zola Barley in Chicot, Arkansas and married Martha Farrar on November 4, 1950, in Lake Village, Arkansas. James served his country in the United States Army from January 29, 1953, and for over 60 years he worked in the sheet and metal business. He is survived by his wife, Martha of Plano, TX; daughters: Barbara Salinas of Wylie, TX and Patricia Birchall of Bradenton, Fla.; sons: James Barley, Jr. of Greenville, TX, Steven Barley of Flower Mound, TX, and Thornton Barley of Taylorsville, MS.; sister Eunice Crosby of Columbia, SC; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Restland Funeral Home from 6:00PM – 8:00PM. Services will be held at Restland’s Wildwood Chapel on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at 10:00 AM with interment to follow at Restland Cemetery.
