James Boyd's Obituary
BOYD, JAMES WILLIARD, 90, of Plano, TX, born April 2, 1916 between Quitman and Minneola, TX, passed away February 18, 2007 after a courageous battle with kidney and lung disease. Preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Fairrie Leola Boyd, parents Irvin Dempsey Boyd, Mamie Gaynelle Boyd, sister Elise Loe. Survived by his son Irvin Dempsey Boyd II and wife Barbara, step-children Ralph Edwards and wife Fran and Sarah McGaha. James spent 38 years with the Texas & Pacific Railroad, later called the Missouri & Pacific Railroad, before retiring in 1978. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the charity of your choice or Grace Hospice. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home.
