James Brandon Burris' Obituary
James Brandon Burris passed away March 29, 2015. He was born in Dallas on March 18, 1982 to Jim and Vanessa Burris. He graduated from Lake Highlands High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech and his graduate degree from UTA. He was an avid hunter, fly fisherman and golfer. He was preparing to attend his first Masters Golf Tournament next week with his brother. He was an architect at Architexas for the past 10 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vanessa; His grandfather, Emmitt Woodson; and his gradmother, Josia Davenport. He is survived by his father, Jim; his brother, Clayton; and wife, Lindsay; his grandmother, Pat Woodson and his grandfather, Ted Burris; plus numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, April 3, 21015 at Restland Funeral Home. Service is Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 2:30 PM in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75238 at Restland Road.
