James Harrison Chancelor's Obituary
of Malakoff, TX, Born 11-05-30 Passed away 12-8-07. Gone to be with the one he loved for 35 years, his beautiful wife Lora LaVerne. He served his country in the armed services. He worked for CertainTeed, now TAMKO, for over 30 years. He is preceded in death by his brothers Ray Chancelor and Robert Milton and his sister Sue Milton. James leaves behind a close-knit family that he loved very much: Lisa & Ray Harrelson; Tamara & Pete Simpson; Billy Ray Hopkins Jr.; Jerald & Liz Hopkins; Kim Chancelor-Brown; Jamie Chancelor & Shelly Skeen; Shannon & Julie Chancelor; and 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, sister Ann Miller and brothers Tommy, Paul and Don Chancelor. He loved his family to the best of his ability and he gave what he had to give. Pallbearers will be Rodney Smith, Kevin Smith, Richard Simpson, Michael Hopkins, Patrick Hopkins and Justin Fite.
