Marcia, I have missed the smiles and friendliness of Jim and you these past months and will always remember his kindness. Know you are loved by many who wish they could just give you a hug, and I love you and am praying for you every day...in HIS love. elsalynn
I met Jimmy many years ago through his brother Jerry. We had several memorable motorcycle rides together and I will always remember those rides and the story's over coffee before and after those rides. It was a pleasure to have known him!
Godspeed Jimmy C........
Jimmie was my brother for 72 years (my age, not his) and I will miss him terribly.
He was a brilliant Christian student, musician, electrical engineer, husband, father, grandfather, brother and person.
Our Dad died when I was 15. Jimmie stepped up and helped me tremendously during that time as a surrogate.
Thanks for the 72 great years, Brother! I miss you already.
My condolences to you, Marcia & the Chapman family. May God bless and comfort you during your time of grief & mourning. Jim was not only an outstanding microwave engineer, but an even better person. His microwave design forte was in power amplifiers and I gave him some extremely tough jobs over the years. He always came through and was a key engineer in a group of very talented microwave engineers/technicians at Texas Instruments and later Raytheon.
