James Cobb, “Big Daddy Rabbit” was my boss and my mentor. I began working with him over 42 years ago, in Amarillo TX. A great deal of what I have been able to accomplish in Life I know has been impacted by him and his leadership. I am so sorry to only now be aware of his passing. As other have said, he left a wake for all of us and a path to follow. We will miss you James. My prayers are with your family.

From the first time I knew James at ACC until the last time we spoke at Prestoncrest Church of Christ, what stands out in my mind is his love for God and encourager for the people God brought across his path. A true Christian gentleman, faithful husband and father, loved and respected by all who knew James, Necia was always by James’ side a “a helper comparable to him, ” Gen.2:18 (NKJV).In his declining years, James was lovingly cared for by Necia. She showed respect for him letting him do the things that he could do. James shall be missed, but the legacy he has left behind will bless people for years to come.
