James Leon Dickinson's Obituary
James Leon “Red” Dickinson, born 3/3/22, departed this world to be with his bride on 5/16/10. He was a sweet man, loved by many and was a devoted husband, loving father, adoring grandfather and great friend. He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII and met Dorothy Bannister, the love of his life, overseas in England. They spent 64 years together as husband and wife until she preceded him in death in 2008. He happily retired to Canton, TX from ARCO after working there for almost 30 years. He is survived by his daughters Betty and Sandy, granddaughter Heather and her husband Joseph, great-grandchildren Abby and Gianni, sister Marie and her husband Jack and numerous nieces and nephews who love him deeply. He will be dearly missed. Visitation will be Thursday 5/20/10 from 6-8 p.m. and services will be held Friday 5/21/10 at 10:00 a.m. at Restland Funeral Home 13005 Greenville Ave Dallas, TX 75243.
