James Ellis Jr., affectionately known by many as a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend, was born on June 18, 1955 in Wichita Falls, TX and peacefully departed this life on May 14, 2026.
James was born to the late James Ellis Sr. and Delores Ellis. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ellis Sr.
To cherish his memory, he leaves behind his devoted mother, Delores Ellis; his beloved sister, Gaye Keller; his brother-in-law, Ron Keller; nephew, Brian Keller; niece, Amy Witt; husband, David Witt; his great niece, Avery Witt; his great nephew, Bryson Witt; and extended family members and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
James, a passionate collector of antiques and classic cars, cherished the company of his friends. Among his many hobbies, refurbishing cars & trucks held a special place in his heart, and his hot rod, in particular, was his pride and joy.
James will be remembered for his presence, his kindness, and the love he shared with those closest to him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
