James Allen Eubanks' Obituary
Eubanks, James Allen Passed away at his home on Sunday, September 13, 2009. Allen was 82. A native Dallasite, he graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and served in the United States Navy from 1945-46. He attended Texas A & M University and graduated from SMU with a degree in Business Administration. During a life-long career in accounting and finance, he was employed by several local businesses including, Horizon Oil and Gas, the Raymond Nasher Co., the Kendrick Management Co., and the estate of Sam Kendrick. He recently served on the Board of Directors of the Bandera Bank in Bandera, Texas. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Love Field Lodge, Scottish Rite, and Hella Temple Shrine. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sarah; his son, Ron and wife, Lee Eubanks; his daughter, Brenda and her husband, Kriss Parikakis. He was known as Pa to his grandchildren, Casey, Ryan, and Eric. All live in the Dallas area. He also is survived by his brother, Charles Truett Eubanks, of Tyler, and his sister Jane Eubanks Butler of California. He was loved and will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, and scores of friends and business associates. Allen is a member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church where a memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. with a reception following at the church. In lieu of sending flowers, family members request that donations be made to either S1. Michaels and All Angels Church, 8011 Douglas at Colgate, or Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 2222 Welborn St., Dallas, Texas.
