James Allen Fletcher's Obituary
James Allen Fletcher, 70, passed away on July 3, 2020 in Plano, TX. He was born April 7, 1950 to s E. Fletcher and Juanita Waiters in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
Jim married Karen Tucka Schrimsher on May 12, 1981. Jim was a wonderful husband, son, brother, uncle and paternal figure to many. Jim's love of life was evidenced by his sense of humor along with his love of music, guitars, motorcycles, golf and cooking and his many friends.
Jim is survived by his wife, Karen Tucka Fletcher, his father James E. Fletcher of Mineola, TX, brothers Mike Fletcher, Gun Barrel City, TX, Rick Fletcher, Clinton, AR, Ishmael Eddie Fletcher, Gun Barrel City, TX, Dana George, Myrtle Beach, SC, nieces Laticia Shaddock, Eustace, TX, Abbie Acklin-Johnson, McKinney, TX, Joy Bhuket Acklin, Dallas, TX, great niece Jordan Acklin, Leonard, TX, aunt Donna Walters Hammond, Gallipolis, OH, uncle Chuck Walters, Point Pleasant, WV along with so many others in his extended family in which he lived and played an important part.
Following a short but heroic battle he passed away in the hospital with his loving wife, Tucka, by his side.
An in-person celebration of Jim's life will be planned at a later date when all of his family and friends can come together and honor our dear Jim. Thank you in advance for sharing your memories of Jim with the family here.
