James Morgan Gainer Jr., 85, of Double Oak, Texas passed away on December 27, 2020 in Flower Mound, Texas. He was born on February 25, 1935 to James Morgan Gainer Sr., and Violet Pauline Jones in Dallas, Texas. He married Carol Frances Bell on August 26, 1955 in Dallas, Texas. He worked as a Mechanic and in Sales. He was the Co-Owner of Inwood Cycle Shop, Metro Turf and Schwinn, and Tri-Cities Schwinn. James was a devoted husband and father. He was a lover of nature and hunting, and could fix just about anything. James was gifted with a genius ability and talent to repair engines. This talent led him to build, repair, and restore antique motorcycles; restore a 1933 Ford, and build a cabin in east Texas. James had a big heart and never met a stranger. He always had a good story or joke to tell. James was always willing to help others. He was a good Christian man whose family meant everything to him, and he will live in their hearts forever. He is survived by his wife, Carol Bell Gainer of Double Oak, Texas; daughters, Deborah Aguilar of Lewisville, Texas, and Carrie Gallegos of Flower Mound, Texas; sisters, Betty Taylor of Collierville, Tennessee, and Susan Little of Granbury, Texas; brother, Robert Gainer of Cordova, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
