James A. Garrett Jr.'s Obituary
GARRETT, JR., JAMES A. was born November 18, 1929 in Haileyville, OK and passed away October 30, 2013 in Garland, Texas. Preceded in death by father, JA Garrett; mother, Ruby; and brother, Kenneth Garrett. Jim is a graduate of TCU and served in Korea with the US Army. He retired from SW Bell after 37 years. His biggest loves are his family, his grandkids, fishing and golf. Jim is survived by former wife, Naomi Garrett; son, Glenn and wife, Jeanine; daughter, Denise Leonard and husband, Kerry; grandchildren, Grady, Taylor and Christy Garrett; sister, Marian Lalli; brothers, Bobby, Tracy and wife Georganne; and many nieces and nephews. Service will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Restland Memorial Chapel with reception immediately following at Restland.
