James Mitchell Green,
"Butch"
Butch, 80, left this world peacefully on January 10th 2025, surrounded by some of his loving family at Lakepoint hospital.
Butch was born on July 31st, 1944 in Prairie Hill, Texas, the son of Cyrus Green and Norris Green. He developed a strong work ethic after graduating from Richardson high school. He went on to pursue his career to which he dedicated himself for 30+years.
Butch was a devoted father, always there to offer guidance and love. He cherished family gatherings, and his presence at holidays and celebrations brought warmth and joy to those around him.
Butch was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes. He had many passions in life, including, his love for old cars whether he was drawing them, or working on them especially working on his '33 Ford Coupe. He loved putting together and painting model cars, collecting RC cars and working with his hands making things out of wood and working in the yard.
Butch is preceded in death by his parents, Cyrus and Norris Green, and his wife Angelina Green. He is survived by his sister Sara Green, and brother Danny Green, his daughters, Tanna, April, Jacqueline and Cora, and step daughter Diane, Butch had 10 grandkids, 7 great grandkids, 4 great, great grandkids, 2 nephews and 1 great nephew, he may not have gotten to spend as much time with everyone as he would
have liked too, but her did love them all very much.
Butch's memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were honored to have had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on for generations to come, inspiring those around him with his kindheartedness, generosity, and unforgettable spirit.
