GRIMES, JAMES “SON” WALTER Was born in Dallas, TX on July 17, 1926 and passed away January 18, 2011 in Maypearl, TX. He was a lifetime resident of Dallas. James served in the U.S. Navy and Air Force during WW II and the Korean Conflict. He worked in the Sheriff Department for over 20 years. He served in the Sheriff’s Possey and Sheriff’s Reserve.James is survived by his son, James “Case” Grimes III; sisters, Dorothy, Loraine, and Billie; and numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Restland Funeral Home from 2:00-4:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2011 at Restland Memorial Park.
