James Stephen Hampton's Obituary
James Stephen Hampton, 46, of Carrollton, passed away April 22, 2015. James is survived by his wife Stacie Hampton, mother Wanda Hampton, sister Lisa Medina and nephew Matthew Medina, sister Renee Lorenz, niece Ashley Bosworth and her husband Justin Bosworth, niece Leslie Tibbs and her husband C.J. Tibbs, sister Kerrie Gerrie and her husband Jay Gerrie, brother Kelly Hampton and his wife Amy Hampton, Grandmother Dorothy Hampton, mother-in-law Barbara Frank, brother-in-law David Frank, The RSP and many, many more friends. James was born in San Antonio and moved to Dallas in 1978 when he was 10 years old. He graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1986 and attended college at Midwestern State University. He and Stacie had been married for over 19 years and were true soulmates, best friends, and the absolute perfect couple. It was obvious to anyone who met them and saw their playful love for one another that God made them especially for each other. James was the most charismatic, kind, giving, goofy, honest, loyal guy and self-proclaimed “life of the party.” He never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest. He will be deeply missed by all. Public services will be held at the Restland Memorial Chapel on Monday, April 27, 2015. Visitation will begin at 1:30pm and Memorial Service will begin at 2:30pm. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heroes for Children and the Hunter Education and Youth Hunting Program – Texas Parks and Wildlife.
