James H. Hicks' Obituary
HICKS, J. HARVEY Born March 6, 1923 in Lufkin, TX and passed away June 1, 2008 in Dallas. He was a member of Cliff Temple Baptist Church for 60 years. Retired from the US Post Office in 1978 after 35 years of service. He spent his retirement years enjoying Lake Tawakoni, doting on granddaughter Natalie, jigsaw puzzles, golf, fishing, traveling, family reunions and telling stories. Harvey is survived by his wife, Ann Hicks; daughter, Beverly Brin and husband Jesse; granddaughter, Natalie Elaine Brin; brother, Bob Hicks of Lufkin, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be from 7-8pm Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:30pm Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
