James L. House's Obituary
From humble beginnings as a coal miner's son, in Frankston, Texas James House grew up to be a man who took pride in serving his country during the Korean War, coming home to marry the love of his life. A man who taught his daughter's to believe not only in themselves but in the Lord Jesus and to pass that love along. After 36 years he retired from American Airlines to cast a line out in the lake with his ever growing family. James Lloyd House was a simple man whose love for others was evident in his every step. We tearfully said see you later as he joined his Savior in heaven on January 14, 2021.
He is survived by his beloved sweetheart of 67 years, Imogene; his beautiful daughters and their husbands Donna and David Wilkins, Sharon and Bill McNutt, Teresa and Russell Simpson; his grandchildren for which he would move mountains Chris and Kristie Wilkins, Julia and Neil Wofford, Joshua McNutt, James Simpson, Jeremy and Becky Simpson; his great-grandchildren whom he adored Courtney and Teylor Stampley, Dalton and Heather Wilkins, Raine Wofford, Brett Wilkins, Bobby Wilkins, Bronson Wofford, Lincoln Wofford, Jacey Simpson, Madison Simpson, Brayden Simpson, Karsen Simpson, Hayes Simpson; great-great-grandchildren whom he delighted in Travis Wilkinson, Peyton Stampley, and Emery Stampley.
