James Ritchey Kappelman's Obituary
KAPPELMAN, JAMES RITCHEY 75, of Wylie, Texas passed away on August 17, 2014. James was born and raised on a farm in Lafe, Arkansas. He served in the military where he achieved the rank of staff sergeant and left with an honorable discharge. He also earned his Bachelor degree in engineering and worked almost four decades in the defense and aerospace industry, retiring from Boeing. James was a member of First Baptist Church of Wylie, Texas where he enjoyed some of the best years of a very good life. He is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Todd and Michelle and grandson, Joshua. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and will continue to live on in our hearts. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Restland Funeral Home with graveside service to follow at 11:30 AM.
