James George Klinkhamer's Obituary
James George “Jim” Klinkhamer died Friday, August 17 at Baylor Medical Center. Jim was born on St. Patrick’s Day, 1963 to James and Dolores Klinkhamer. He grew up in Carpentersville, Illinois with a devoted group of guys who remain close to this day. They all attended Eastern Illinois University and will forever be the Penguins. He relocated to Texas in 1988 where he lived a full Texas sized life. He is survived by his adoring (and adored) wife Jennifer. He was a devoted and loving father to Hayden, Kenzie, Chloe, Hudson and Adam. He also leaves behind his loving “big bro” Dan (wife Sue), nephew Kevin, niece Julie (husband Aaron Pankoke) and special great niece Anna James Pankoke. He was preceded in death by his parents,Jim and Dee, his brother Steve and his grandparents Bess and George (his namesake) Krizek. Whether you knew him as Jamie,Jaybird,Jay, Jimbo, Klink or just Jim he was a true and loyal friend who always took time to listen and learn. He had friends all over the United States. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. His wish is that everyone lives their life the same way. Go Cubs!
