Mike was a good man. Jayne, Mike’s wife, is my dearest friend. I didn’t get to Dallas often but the times when I visited Mike was a gracious host. He once took me and Jayne on a flight simulator which is still a highlight for me. But knowing him through those times and most importantly through Jayne he was a loyal husband and wonderful father to Kevin. A Texan at heart, a loving son to his mother and a good citizen. After his seemingly endless years of a prestigious flight career - ever training and advancing to bigger, more advanced aircraft - he enjoyed his home in Dallas. He was handy at building things and spent time on many home improvement projects. I loved hearing of the extraordinary meals with shared photos from Mike’s holiday and special occasion menus. I will forever be sad I missed one of these culinary delights prepared from Chef Mike’s kitchen. Rest In Peace Mike.
