Born September 3, 1930 in Creedmoor, Texas passed away August 17, 2016 in Irving, Texas. James is survived by sons, David John Lawrence, James Alan Lawrence; grandson, James G. Lawrence; granddaughter, Kara Elizabeth Radel; siblings, Norma Morgan, Thelma McGee, Dorman Richard Lawrence; great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. The visitation for James Lawrence will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, Friday, August 26, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. A memorial service for James will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 27, 2016 at First Christian Church in Irving. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Christian Church, Irving Memorial Fund; Shriners Hospital for Children; East Dallas Christian Concert Series.
