James Riley Leftwich's Obituary
Born Dec. 24, 1921, Mt. Pleasant TX. and passed away on March 1, 2012. Served in the US Marine Corps in World War II and the Korean War. He was a retired Traffic Manager, Boy Scout Leader, 32nd Degree Mason & Member of Walnut Hill Methodist Church. He was a former member of Wheel & Deal Square Dance Club and spent his retirement building bird houses and wooden puzzles. Preceded in death by parents, 2 brothers & 1 sister. Survived by wife of 66 years, Verna Lou (Moore) Leftwich; son Michael & wife Ellen; daughter, Cindy Bledsoe & husband Sanford; 4 grandchildren & 1 great-granddaughter. Services: Wildwood Chapel, Restland, Dallas 3/5/12, 3:00 pm. Visitation at 2:00 pm.
