James Andrew Lewis' Obituary
James Andrew Lewis was born October 3, 1930 in Bloomdale, TX to Lesley and Pearl Lewis and passed away May 3, 2018 in Garland, TX. On October 16, 1953, James married Jeanette Giles in Carrollton, TX. for 4 years James worked at Restland Cemetery and spent 35 years at Texas Instruments. He also served his country as a Sargent in the Army from 1952-1953. He is preceded in death by 4 brothers and 6 sisters; grandson, Benjamin Robert Michal; great-granddaughter Christina Josephine lewis and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Lewis; daughters, Sheila and husband Robert Michal; Julie and husband Michael Clark; son, Philip Lewis; sister, Mary Ann Keller; 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday May 9, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at Restland’s Memorial Chapel on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 2:30PM. Interment will follow a Restland Cemetery.
