Born April 1, 1939 in Bushnell, IL, and passed away July 26, 2007 in Mesquite, TX. James served in the United States Air Force. He was the director of Soul’s Harbour Homeless Shelter in Dallas, TX. He is survived by ex-wife Rose Evelyn; son Douglas Edward Lowell; daughters Mona Bender and Rhonda Kay Dobbs; brothers Bob and Bill Lovell; sisters Joann Winegarden and Patricia Allison; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
