I will never forget when Poppy & Reese came to Durango with Doug & Tricia. We decided to ride bikes into town, & Poppy hopped right onto my 1950s red Schwinn cruiser & flew down Animas Mountain like it was the Alpe d’Huez! I am so sorry about the big void he leaves behind. When I last saw him—even though he was hospitalized (a floor below Mom, remember that?), he still sported his cute half-mischievous grin & and twinkled his eyes like the whole hospital thing must have been a big mistake, what were they thinking?! Take care dearest family; Steve & I are sending prayers.
