Jim was a wonderful friend of Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Children’s Home. He served on the Board and continued to demonstrate his concern for children and families in the many years afterward. Jim was perhaps the kindest man I’ve ever known; always a southern gentleman; a true renaissance man.
Welcomed home in heaven.

My deepest sympathies to Dr. McDonald’s family. I saw him in Walmart while visiting family a few years ago, and as always, he remembered me and I thanked him for my smile. His calm demeanor has made me, even to this day, believe that going to the dentist is more enjoyable than going to any other doctor! What a kind, sweet man that will definitely be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
