James Russell ‘Rusty’ McGee born December 29, 1986 in Dallas Texas died January 11, 2017 in Southaven Mississippi. Preceded in death by his grandparents Rusty Groover, Vera Groover and James Carroll McGee and his Uncle Shawn McGee. Survived by parents Jim and Kyla McGee, sister Ashley McGee, niece Alexa Meehan, aunts and uncles Dan Groover and George and Alana Ackels, and a large and loving family of cousins. Rusty was loving and loyal with his family and friends, he loved sports and movies, he was smart, and a talented athlete. Rusty had a strong personal faith and his favorite scripture was Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. The McGee, Ackels and Groover families would like to thank all of our loving friends and extended family for their outpouring of support and care during this difficult time. We love you Rusty and will miss you until we see you again.
