James Edwin Melton, 69, passed away May 19, 2020 in Plano, Tx. He was born October 25, 1950 to parents Cecil Melton and Leta Mae Melton in Dallas, TX. He married Vonda Leen Shropshire on November 9, 1973 in Dallas, Tx. He was a Graphic Illustrator. He served in the US Marines from 1969 to 1975.
He is survived by daughters Melissa Van Hecker, Wylie, TX, Tammy Kent, Mabank, TX, grandsons Justin Van Hecker, Wylie, TX, Aaron Van Hecker, Wylie, TX, brother Dennis Melton, Dallas, TX, two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents Leta Mae Melton and Cecil Leon Melton
