James Monroe Mims Jr's Obituary
James Monroe Mims, Jr. was born October 2, 1950 to the parentage of James Monroe Mims and Cleo Bell Frazier. James attended Dallas schools and played football for Booker T. Washington High School. After graduating he went to technical school and received his license for Butane Gas.
He married Thelma Carroll and to this union was born two children, James Carroll and Sabrina Mims.
James was a hard worker and was well like by many. He will be missed by those who knew him well.
He is preceded in death by wife, Thelma Carroll Mims.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, James Carroll and Sabrina Mims; three grandchildren, James Wilson, Terrence Wilson, and Jalen Carroll and his sister Carmen "Cookie" McGee.
Services will be held at 10am Tuesday, July 5, 2022 in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. there will be a visitation prior at 9am
