James Patrick Murphy's Obituary
Mr. James Patrick Murphy, age 92, of Allen, TX passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 8, 2018 in Allen, Texas. He was born on Monday, April 3, 1926, to his loving and thoughtful parents, Charles Murphy and Mary Murphy in Detroit, MI. He married Marguerite Jones on September 3, 1949 in Detroit, MI. Mr. James Patrick Murphy was a VP in Marketing at Aviall and worked in Aviation for over 50 years. He was a member of QB Pilot organization teacher and usher in the Catholic Church at St. Mark in Plano. He served in the US Navy from 4/5/44 – 6/19/46 as a motor machinist second class. He is preceded in death by Marguerite Murphy, Ethel Murphy and Michael Murphy. James is survived by his daughters: Michele Murphy – Richardson, TX, Tammy Goforth – Frisco, TX. Sons: Patrick Murphy – Allen, TX , Terry Murphy – Carrollton, TX, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.Funeral services for Mr. James Patrick Murphy are scheduled for Monday, November 12, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St Marks Catholic Church – Plano. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
