James Charles Phillips' Obituary
James Charles Phillips, 69 of Lewisville, TX passed away on July 31, 2020 in Lewisville, TX of accidental drowning. He was born on June 1, 1951 to Ted and Helen Phillips in Sauk Rapids, MN. He married Anita Corrigan on April, 21, 1990 in St. Cloud, MN. Jim was a devoted father who retired in 1997 to be a stay-at-home dad to his daughters. Jim loved cross-country skiing, kayaking, music, and cooking. He competed in the cross-country Vasaloppet ski race in Mora. MN in 2006, 2007, and 2008. Jim and his family moved from Maple grove, MN to Lewisville, TX in 2008. He is survived by his wife, Anita Phillips of Lewisville, TX; daughters, Marie Phillips of Temple, TX, and Nicole Phillips of Lewisville, TX; sisters, Rita Waletski (Jim)of Chanhasson, MN, Mary Jane Kilby (Bill) of Excelsior, MN, and Judy Phillips (Cecil Ranney) of Kodiak, AK; and brother, Mike Phillips (Lanette) of Copper Center, AK. He was preceded in death by John Phillips (Becky) of Woodville, WI.
