James Pool's Obituary
Jim Pool passed away January 13, 2009 in Dallas, TX at the age of 68. He was born in Tyler, TX, and earned degrees from Rice University and Southern Methodist University. He was a Professional Engineer at Texas Instruments and retired after nearly 40 years of service. He was an active member of Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church, and a former Deacon of Northminster Presbyterian Church. Jim was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by Danna, his wife of 41 years; his sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory and wife Jennifer, Jason and wife Janette; and his four grandchildren Alex, Alden, Rachael, and Kate. His family will miss him greatly. A memorial service will be held at 11 am Saturday at Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church, 8525 Audelia Road, Dallas, TX 75238. In lieu of flowers, the Pool family requests that donations be made to the Lake Highlands Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
