James Lester Poovey's Obituary
POOVEY, JAMES LESTER, 84 was born on June 4, 1930 in Garland, Texas and passed away at his home on July 6, 2014 in Richardson, Texas. He worked as a postman for twenty years after he served in the United States Air Force for twenty years. Jim enjoyed sports, especially golf, as well as movies, music and spending time with his family and many grandchildren. Jim is lovingly remembered by his wife of 27 years, Pat Poovey; son, James “Jimmy” Poovey of Phoenix, Arizona, step-sons, Joseph Dunegan and Troy Dunegan both of Dallas, Texas; and sister, Faye Carr of Lavon, Texas. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Restland Abbey Chapel.
