James B. Rackler III (Trey)'s Obituary
Rackler, James B. III (Trey) born on August 23, 1985, in Dallas, TX and passed away on July 31, 2017, in McKinney, TX. Trey was preceded in death by his grandparents Delmer and Eillene Tucker and J. B. and Ruby Rackler. Trey is survived by his parents James and Jane Rackler of Murphy, TX, he is also survived by his sister Alison Rackler Lewis, her husband Mike and son Henry all of McKinney; brother Jeff Rackler of Houston; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Trey attended Lake Highlands High School and The University of Oklahoma. He loved taking long rides on his motorcycle and enjoyed working in the yard or around his house. Trey was an Eagle Scout in Troop 890 of Lake Highlands. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved camping. He recently became active in the HOA of his neighborhood, serving on the Architectural and Landscape Committee. He loved going to the gun range with his dad and was an excellent marksman. Trey was employed by TEK Systems of Frisco as a project coordinator. He proudly served his country as a Corporal in the Marine Corps. He was stationed in Okinawa and did a tour of duty in Iraq. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (iava.org). The family will receive friends Thursday, August 10, 2017, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017, at 11:00 AM in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM at DFW National Cemetry. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
