James "Jim" Radford's Obituary
James "Jim” Radford was born on July 1, 1935, in Dover, Tennessee to James Henry and Lilian Radford. He went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2023.
While living in Texas, Jim was an active member of Central Park Church in Richardson, Texas. He served as a deacon and was a sponsor and teacher for the singles group. He often dedicated his time to the church community. He was a proud member of the NRA and enjoyed collecting guns. He also loved to fish, golf, landscape, and watch football.
Jim loved Texas but always dreamed of living in Florida. Daytona Beach was one of his favorite places. Jim was able to realize his dream of living in Florida for the last 16 years of his life.
Jim and his family want to offer a special thanks to the wonderful people at Hospice of Marion County. A special thank you also goes to Lori Allen and Sandra Maitre for their contributions to his care.
James is preceded in death by his parents, James Henry and Lilian Radford; Brother, Charles Struckhoff; and grandson, Derrick Radford.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Radford; sons, James Jr. And Ruel Radford; stepsons, Jeff and Clinton Anderson; daughters Kathy Rickman and Kim LaRosa; and stepdaughter, Jennifer Ybarra; and brother, Jerry Struckhoff. He is also survived by grandchildren, James Radford III, Kyle Stirnaman, Scott Stirnaman, Christopher Radford, Kaycee Pool, Kyla Radford, Brad Lacore, Hannah Terling, Taylor LaRosa, Megan White, and Lexie White. His great-grandchildren include Jack Stirnaman, Sadie Stirnaman, August Stirnaman, Rhett Stirnaman, Reese Radford, Elle Radford, Austin Radford, Scarlett Hughes, Presley Radford, Olivia Radford, Paisley Hughes, Jameson Radford, Nolan Pool, Hanson Pool, Benjamin Lacore, James Lacore, and Lily Ybarra. He leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
