James Paschal Reid's Obituary
50 of Plano, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2008. He was a partner with Gardere Wynne Sewell of Dallas, Texas and formerly was an associate with Phelps Dunbar of New Orleans, LA. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama, his MBA in Accounting from the University of North Alabama, and his J.D. from the University of Mississippi. He was an active member of Prestonwood Baptist Church of Plano. He is survived by his wife Cynthia Sears Reid, son James Harrison Reid, daughter Elizabeth Paschal Reid, parents James Max Reid and the late Rozanne Schilleci Reid of Bessemer, AL, sisters Dana Reid Deale (Jim) of Gadsden, AL, Lisa Reid Jones (Bruce) of McCalla, AL, neice Ashley Deale Morgan (Dustin), nephew Jackson Reid Jones, aunt Patsy Schilleci Grubbs (Bill), and cousin Denise Grubbs Williams (Matt). Visitation will be held 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday February 19, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 21, 2008, in Bessemer, AL with Bessemer Brown Funeral Service at Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to City Missions of Prestonwood Baptist Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
