James Jackson Rollins' Obituary
Born in Houston TX, December 12, 1924; Passed away November 3, 2009. Parents Mary Williamson & Andrew P. Rollins. Survived by his wife, Jan, of Carrollton, TX; brothers Andrew P. Rollins, Jr., of Portland, OR, & Albert W. Rollins of Arlington, TX, & sister Rose Massier of Garland, TX. Also survived by a host of other family members and friends. He served in WWII from March 10, 1943, going into combat on Thanksgiving Day 1943. Discharged October 26, 1943; Received 7 Battle Stars, including Battle of Bulge. His only employer was Sears, Roebuck and Co. from September 1948 retiring December 31, 1980. Funeral Services Thursday November 5, 2009 at 10 AM; 1st Baptist Church, Carrollton, TX; Burial following at D/FW National Cemetery 1:30 PM. Honorary Pallbearers: Adult Six Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church, Carrollton.
