James Emmett Wilson, age 86, of Wills Point, Texas entered this life on January 26, 1932, in Dallas, Texas. He was the loving son of Emmett and Nannie (Scott) Wilson. He passed away in the loving arms of his wife and surrounded by his children at their home Friday, January 4, 2019. James was skilled in many trades. He loved to build and fix things. He always made time for his wife and family. He had a great since of humor that would brighten your day. He was full of laughs and you could not help but love him.James will be missed by his loving wife of 66 years, Joan (Bennett) Wilson of Wills Point, Texas; his devoted children, Carolyn Kerley and her husband, Danny of Van Alstyne, Texas; Nancy Kroeger of Royse City, Texas; Linda Turner of Carrollton, Texas; Skip Wilson and his wife, Julie of Mesquite, Texas; Diane Beaman and her husband Rick of Springfield, Missouri; Susie Camarillo and her husband, Mike of Dallas, Texas; 22 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sisters, Louise McDonald of Dallas, Texas; Virginia Waggoner of Boyd, Texas; sister-in-law, Peggy Norman and her husband, Olan of Athens, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Emmett Wilson; his mother, Nannie (Scott) Wilson; his baby brother, Paul Wilson; brothers-in-law, Doug McDonald; Arthur Waggoner; Grady Norman; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Frix; Jean “Ducky” Norman; niece, Kathy Norman.Friends may visit Tuesday, January 8, 2019, from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at 2:30 p.m. at the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home & Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243. Interment will follow at Restland.
