James Hudson Wright's Obituary
James Hudson Wright, aged 83, awoke into our heavenly father's arms on August 7th, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. He was born to Carl Windell and Fannie Mae Wright on February 14th, 1941, in Pittsburg, Texas.
He graduated from Fred Douglas High School in 1959 and proceeded to earn his degree from Prairie View A&M in 1966. He met the love of his life, Leola Wright (Conger), and the two married on April 5th, 1980.
James was a loving father and a devoted husband. He leaves his family with unforgettable memories and will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Carl and Fannie Wright, his daughter, Rasheedah Wright, his brother, Carl Windall Wright Jr., and his sister, Helen Carolyn Wright.
He is survived by his faithful wife, Leola Wright, son, Fred Hudson Wright, daughter, Amy Miller, sister, Linda Ruth Wright, grandchildren; Miranda Allison, Xavier Allison, Matthew Day, Tiahna McDonie, Ciarra James, Samaya Wright, Sasha Barrios, and Saige Wright, and great-grandchildren; Aurora McDonie, Jude McDonie, Courtney Day, Kaylee Ray Day, and Cody Day.
