Jamie Ovelle Dill's Obituary
DILL, JAMIE OVELLE (MINTER) Went to be with the Lord on November 30,2010. Jamie was born in Dallas, Texas on December 1, 1922. She is survived by Lyndell J. Dill, her loving husband of71 years. Daughters Linda Mackie and husband Neil of Springtown, Texas, and Dana Hammond and husband Vince of Crystal Lake, Illinois, Grandchildren Debbie Fast, Kathie Megliorino, Vince Hammond, and Tracy Stegall; 10 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and two nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents Lou Belle and Albert Sidney Minter, two sisters Ruth Brown and Mary Lou Shewmaker, brother Buford Minter and her beloved uncle Jim. She attended North Dallas high school before marrying the love of her life. Jamie also enjoyed oil painting, square dancing bowling and camping. Most of all our mother will be remembered as devoting her life to making a loving Christian home for all her family. We love her dearly and we will miss her forever. Visitation will be from 3:00PM – 5:00PM, Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be at 12:30PM, Monday, December 6, 2010 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
