Jamie Meador Grimland's Obituary
Grimland, Jamie Meador 94, returned to her maker peacefully at home on June 5, 2014. Jamie was born in Big Spring, Texas, and lived in Grand Prairie most of her adult life where she and her husband operated the Grimland Photography Studio. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, her beloved husband, Joe Grimland, Sr. from Clifton, Texas; best friend, Hans P. Jenson and daughter in law, Anita. She is survived by her son, Joe Rush Grimland, Jr. and daughter in law, Maria; grandchild, Kaley and her husband, Edgar Mendoza, and grandchild, Molly and her husband, Hunter Smith. Special thanks go to those who attended to Jamie during the last months of her life, specifically Thi Nguyen her nurse and Carol Colins her homecare aide. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Restland Memorial Park.
