Jan Sue Gibson's Obituary
GIBSON, JAN SUE – Age 76, of Plano, Texas passed away peacefully on July 10, 2012 at home. She was born on March 8, 1936 in Lawrence, Kansas to her parents, Orville and Inez. Jan was the oldest of two. She married Bobby in Durant, OK. on October 18, 1953. They had three children. She attendend Woodrow Wilson High School and graduated in 1954. She was a longtime resident of Plano, Texas for 36 years. Jan was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She enjoyed music, singing in her choir, travel, crafting, and any time spent with family especially time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jan will be remembered by her loving husband and their children, Cheryl Palmer of The Colony, TX., Craig Gibson of Plano, TX., and Chris Gibson of Bryan, TX. She is also survived by her sister, Sally Beeson; nephew, Mike Beeson of Plano, TX; niece, Kelly Beeson Middleton of Austin, TX; cousins, Rhetta Jo Noever and Rich Noever; grandchildren, Samantha, Ethan, Jessica, Marshall and Richard; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral serivce will be held at 12:30pm, Friday, July 13, 2012 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
