Jane Ellen Cruse's Obituary
Jane Ellen Cruse was a bright, shining light! Soft spoken, gracious and sincere she was a wonderful wife, Mother, and friend. The youngest of two children born to H.H. Paddock and Ruby Eisele Paddock, she grew up in North Texas with her sister, Pat Paddock Emanuel. Janie graduated from North Dallas High School in 1956 and began a career in the Insurance industry that lasted until her marriage to Fred Cruse in 1963. Co-founder of Au Rex Dental she and her husband grew a small business into a very successful firm supplying precious metals to Dental Labs and Dentists. The business allowed her the flexibility to work, yet be a “hands-on” Mom to her children Susan Lynn Harms (Jesse) and Brandon Fred Cruse. Janie had a close relationship with her sister and nieces, Debbie and Diane and her grandchildren, Ellen Leigh Harms and Nathan Benjamin Harms.Jane volunteered at Presbyterian Hospital and enjoyed socializing with her neighbors and friends over an exciting game of cards. She was a dear, sweet person who will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 15th at Garden of Compassion at Restland Memorial Park at 1:30PM.
