Survived by her husband, Jim by daughter, Katherine, father, Mike Welsh, sisters, Nancy McCotter and Cynthia Libby and brother Jim Welsh. Her son Nathan preceded her in death. Jane’s love for Katherine made her the most important person in her life. The loss of her son Nathan was always with her, but made her appreciate Katherine even more. She focused her engeries into giving back back to the world. Jane was instumental in the M.O.M.S.(Ministry of Moms Sharing) group at church which promotes a focus on the family with strong faith and fellowship helping each other through the good times and tough times in life. Jane worked for many years in the church nursery and loved telling funny stories of the children. The hugs from those little arms made her so happy. She loved movies and had an annual Oscar Party with decorations and food to rival the Governor’s ball. It didn’t matter that she was too busy with her family to see any of the movies. She loved her nieces and nephews so much that when they were babies she couldn’t wait for them to wake up from their naps so she could play with them. She planned an annual Easter Egg Hunt long after Katherine had outgrown it but Jane hadn’t. Jane had a wide knowledge of trivia she never lost a game of trivial pursuit, Jeopardy or any other game. She was a dart expert, and an expert of winning stuffed animals from the claw machines which she happily gave to her nieces and nephews. She was Katherine’s Girl Scout Leader, room mother and involved a much as possible in band and other activities. Her business Scents and Sensibilities was born of her love of making soaps, candles and crafts. She never made much money because she always wanted to make people happy. Her garden was legendery -her cucumbers were so big they looked like small watermelons. Jane spoke with everyone she encountered and remembered their names and details about their families. Walking out of church took so long as she hugged and talked with her many friends. Her warm smile will be missed by so many people.
