Jeannette Rose “Janet” Marsh passed away peacefully surrounded by her immediate family on Thursday, October 12, 2017 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 72.Janet is preceded in death by her parents Z.T. “Jack” and Gladys Douglas, her sister Joyce Ratliff, grandson Cole Parsons and nephew Jerry Don Marsh Jr.She is survived by her husband Doyle Wayne “Buddy” Marsh, son David Martin, daughter-in-law Deborah Martin, grandchildren Brittany and husband Rafael Nieves, Taylor Martin, Ashley Altum, and Justin Parsons and fianceé Breann Price, great grandchildren Rafael the 3rd, Jacey, Ryder, Robinson, Landry, and Jett, and brothers Charles Douglas and Jack Douglas.Janet was born on August 18, 1945 in Dallas, Texas to Gladys Williamson and Z.T. “Jack” Douglas. She wed her soulmate Buddy, a mechanic in 1972. After moving to Dallas, Janet began working for Dallas County Tax Office and continued until her retirement in 2007. Her family remembers her as a kind, loving, loyal, funny, mother, and grandmother.The family would like to thank Kendra and Peggy for their care and friendship as well as the hospital staff for their dedication to Janet’s fight.Funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at 3 p.m., at Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home followed by interment at Restland Memorial Park. Bro. J. J. Moore will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Janet’s life.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
