Janice Louise Flesch's Obituary
Janice Louise Flesch (87), of Richardson, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Merrill and Viviene McCluskey and was the eldest of four siblings.
In 1959, she married the love of her life, Roger Leo Flesch, and they shared 64 years together. Janice dedicated 32 years to the Richardson Independent School District (RISD) at Berkner High School.
A devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Janice sang in the choir for many years, served as Women’s Guild president, and helped organize the church craft fair for over 20 years. She had a passion for books, bunco, bridge, poker, and classic 80’s films.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roger in 2023 and is survived by her three children and their families: daughters Linda Marie White (husband James) and Nancy Elizabeth Gibson (husband Jay); son Kevin Michael Flesch (wife Elaine); grandchildren David, Patrick (wife Amber), Lee, and Sarah (husband Reese); and four great grandchildren, Porter, Gwen, Halle, and Riley. She is also survived by her three siblings: Kathleen (husband Stephen), Paul, and Glen McCluskey (wife Holly).
In celebration of her life and Catholic faith, a Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 600 S Jupiter Rd, Richardson, Texas on April 10, 2026, with rosary at 1:00 PM and Mass at 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Janice’s name to the St. Joseph Women’s Guild or the church.
