Janice Louise Parrish's Obituary
Janice Parrish, beloved wife, mother and grandmother went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2010. Preceded in death by daughter Cynthia Lynn Veer, father Morris Coffelt, mother Hazel Massey, brothers Gene, Thurman and Bobby Coffelt. She was owner of Don’s Transfer and Storage for 25 years. She was a ray of sunshine when she entered a room and had a smile to share with everyone. She was a blessing to all she came in contact with. She was an inspiration to her children and her grandchildren always supportive and loving. Always teaching us to strive to be our very best. Everyone says that the world was a better place for her being in it and they are better people for having known her. She will be dearly missed . She is survived by husband and best friend of 38 years, Don Parrish. Children Sherry Dupont, Kirk Parrish, Stacy Parrish and stepson Don Parrish, Jr. Also nine grandchildren which she adored and was the center of her life. Also by her brother, Ray Coffelt, Frank and wife Kathy Coffelt, Virginia and husband Bobby Johnson, Kathy and husband Terry Zeiger, Jack and wife Alice Coffelt, George and wife Theresa Coffelt, Carol Ferman, Billy and wife Donna Coffelt, Ronnie Coffelt and lifelong friend Jean Coffelt. And numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will Friday, February 26, 6-8pm( Main Building). Saturday visitation is at Wildwood Chapel from 2-3pm with service immediately following at 3pm. Restland Funeral Home 13005 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 972-238-7111. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or St. Jude Hospital for children.
