Janice Fae Sandridge's Obituary
Janice Faye Sandridge was born in Hope, Arkansas on October 27, 1950 to Joe and Eunice Bryson Bingham. She graduated from Hope High School in 1967, and later moved to Dallas, Texas in late 1967. Janice attended beauty operator school and worked as an operator for a period of time. She then went to work at the Hoffman’s florist shop in Grand Prairie, as she was very creative at floral design and flourished in the business. Janice left the florist for a job at Briggs Weaver Equipment Company where she started as a clerk and progressed to the position of Executive Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of the division. She was then promoted to the position of Rental Manager where she retired after 23 years of service. Janice met Mitchell Glenn Sandridge in 1993, Mitch was a field service technician. They eventually fell in love and married April 5, 1995. Mitch and Janice left Briggs to start their own service business in 1997, Mitchell’s Industrial Service. Janice was very integral partner in this business utilizing her skills for scheduling, parts management, and most importantly her business skills in invoicing, payroll, taxes, and inventory control. Although Mitch and Janice did not have children of their own, she loved Mitch’s three children as a mother and helped them along life’s sometimes difficult path. She also had many nieces and nephews as well as several, (sort of adopted), other young people that loved her for her kindness, patients and wisdom. Janice enjoyed family vacations, they went all over the South Western United States with and without children. She also enjoyed boating. Mitch and Janice finally achieved their dream and purchased a really nice motor coach. Janice loved to travel in the coach and they enjoyed several trips prior to her illness. In her leisure time she enjoyed reading, and using her artistic talents in floral design particularly at holidays. Janice was preceded in death by her mother Eunice and nephew Joe Neal Bingham Jr. Janice is survived by her husband Mitch and his children and five grand children her sister and two brothers and multiple nieces and nephews, beloved by all. Also her brother and sister-in-law, their two children and one grandchild. Janice was well loved, and will be missed by her family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on March 10, 2017 at Macedomia Cemetery in Hope, Arkansas.
