Ms. Janie Izora Bolding, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2019, in Carrollton, Texas. She was born on Friday, December 16, 1932, to her loving and thoughtful parents, John W. Robinson and Maude Williams Robinson in Hall Summit, LA. Janie will be sincerely missed by her loving family, her devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.Janie married Chalmers E. Bolding, Jr. on September 4, 1954 in Red River Parish, LA. She was a corporate secretary for numerous companies including General Aluminum and FDIC.She is survived by daughter, Teri Bolding, Carrollton, TX; son, Mark Bolding & wife Prudence Bolding, Katy, TX; grandchildren, Clark Bolding, Katy, TX, Grant Bolding & wife Jessica Bolding, Arlington, TX; great grandchildren, Eleanor Bolding, Caroline Bolding and sister-in-law, Sheryl Robinson, Coushatta, LA.She was preceded in death by husband, Chalmers E. Bolding, Jr.; parents, John and Maude Robinson; sisters, Meroe Jones and husband, Sidney, Betty Jo Dickson and husband, Walter, Earnestine Robinson; brothers, Willie Robinson, Howard Robinson and wife, Margie, Gene Robinson and wife, Betty Rose and Wilmer Robinson and wife, Marilyn.Janie deeply loved the Lord and her family and friends. All those who knew her will greatly miss her gentle soul, her loving heart and warm laughter. These endearing qualities were experienced by the staff at Briarview Senior Living and Accord PHC over the final months of her time with us. The family is tremendously grateful to these loving caregivers for their selfless and compassionate care.Visitation for Janie will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2019 from 6:00PM to 8:30PM at Restland Funeral Home.
