Janis Bobbitt Lee's Obituary
LEE, JANIS BOBBITT, surrounded by the love and prayers of family and friends, passed from this life and into the arms of Jesus on July 25, 2013. Janis was a loving mother, faithful friend, and gave generously of her time and resources. She was a passionate and active member of First United Methodist Church in Richardson, the Women’s Center, the James Billingsley DAR Chapter, and several other organizations. Janis was born on April 19, 1939 in Dallas, Texas to Martha and Manuel Bobbitt. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Bobbitt, wife Allison, and grandchildren Sydney, James, Elizabeth, and Zelda of Prosper, TX; and her brother, Larry Bobbitt and wife Dot of Fulshear, TX. Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home between 6-8 pm on Monday, July 29. Graveside service will be held at Restland Memorial Park on Tuesday, July 30 at 9 am, followed by a Memorial Service at 10 am at First United Methodist Church in Richardson.
